The Procession of the Three Kings (1459)

The patron, Piero de' Medici,
shows up himself in the retinue of a King in the fresco called The Procession of the Three Kings (1459), which adorns the Medici palace in Florence (piero.jpg--480x332)

Taken from the fresco cycle “The Procession of the Three Kings” (1459) that adorns the Medici palace in Florence, the patron, Piero de’ Medici, had himself painted (far right) in the retinue of one of the Three Kings (center).
